Figured I would share my latest completed project. The truck is a First Gear Peterbilt 367 that was shortened into a tandem. I removed the light bar and built beacon mounts from brass, made the air lines functional, and swapped the white wheels out for chrome! The trailer is the ASAM (now keystone diecast) scraper trailer that I purchased in kit form, assembled and painted myself. I opted to swap the wheels on the trailer over to First Gear wheels as well for the matching look! The project was a lot of fun and i am very happy to have it completed and on the shelf!

Great looking scraper hauler Clay! Did you paint the Pete's frame and fenders to match the trailer?

Really came out well. I always wanted one, but just never got around to it. Great work. CAW

Thanks guys, I appreciate it!
Ken, The pete came with the blue frame and fenders from first gear! It is my favorite color scheme they have done on a truck to date! It did take some time finding a close enough paint match for touching up the frame on the pete after it was shortened, as well as for painting the trailer though.
