Whenever I think things are getting a bit slower something nice shows up Teeth This time it's testlifting the Manitowoc M1200 from A2Sea Drool

1300 metric ton if I should believe the Mammoet lifting chart. The crane is now fitted with heavy boom (4m high and 5.75m wide and weighing 145t!), just plain HUGE.

We all know how big a forklift is so just compare Teeth

The Manitowoc M1200 72-Ringer has a capacity of 1433 tons (1300 tonnes). The M1200 75a-Ringer has a capacity of 816 tons (900 tonnes). I can't tell which one this is.

Emiel - Thanks again for some excellent pictures.

The crane is now rigged in 72 configuration which means BIG dimension boom, let me see if I can find some pictures of the crane rigged with 75 boom.

New owner is A2Sea from Danmark. Crane will be put on the jack-up barge Sea Jack formerly known as Jumping Jack and the mainwork will consist of building offshore windmills Smile
