Thanks to TimT for a few pics. I wanted to make one of these but have had little luck in finding many photos for reference. I believe this is the 30,000 pound counterweight that is listed as an option for this machine. From what I have seen, there are smaller individual weights that are placed on top of this one, but without photos that show the top I didn't model them yet. I had this dusty old carrydozer model sitting around just asking for some sort of upgrade, and was trying to decide between a multi shank ripper, or the counterweight. I settled on the counterweight because it was easier. I may try a multi shank ripper once the D11T is out. It is made out of brass although it could probably be made out of styrene easier. Great Job Shane!! And something not often seen either. Like I had said, the machine I sent you pics of was the only CD that I had seen in person without the ripper. That would be a great piece for the mining dozer collectors! Tim.
