Yeah great photos. I like seeing the HD785 as much as the 5110.

Thanks for sharing.

Really cool pics. The 5110B is my favorite Cat-excavator. It´s a shame they´re not build anymore.
Thanks for sharing

Nice pictures and the 5110B was definitely the best of the bigger 5000 series models from Cat. It's not an ideal match for those Komatsu HD785s though. A 250 tonne class machine like an EX2500, RH120 R9250 or PC3000 would do the job more efficiently.

Very nice pictures. I had a opportunity to play on one for about 5 minutes and it was sweet! Man after going from a 50,000 Lbs machine to looking at a bucket the size of a large truck was a site to be seen.

Here's a picture of me standing in the bucket of the 5110.

Diego - your English is better than my Spanish at least. Where is the jobsite? I visited the C601 widening project north of Madrid last year and there were a lot of Cat machines there, including a couple of 5110Bs belonging to subcontractor Excavaciones de Madrid, working for main contractor Sacyr.

The Jobsite is on the Highway A-23 near a village called Jaca, in North-East of Spain .
I don't know the project of Madrid , but in the Spanish forum "Escalapasion" there are posibly information in "obras nacionales".
bye

Diego - do you know which contractor is carrying out the job? It looks like a fairly big project.
