its not a bad model. i like it cause its a good solid model in my opinion, it goes along well with the AC 500-2 unfortunately the luffer cant be shortened. it can but you have to drill the rivets to the pendants out unlike the AC 500 where it can be configured in many different lengths. the counterweights are what they are unlike the AC 500 which can also be added to or taken from. good thing about it is that it comes with the luffer so you dont have to spend the extra money to buy one. i would recommend this this model if you are thinking about buying it
EDIT i take that back, i said the rivets needed to be drilled, they dont. you just need something small enough to pop them out, like a safety pin or something along that size, i just meant they arent as easy to work with as the AC 500 luffer pendants

Hey, I posted these a while back. I really like this model, you get alot of bang for your buck, I do recommend the YCC detail kit and definately the brass cylinders. I would like to do another one of these, but I have way too many projects right now, enjoy! Mark

I want to do a repaint of one of those too, I am leaning towards Marino not sure though. I am collecting alot of accessories for a custom LR1750, livery yet to be determined! Depend on the decals. Good luck with your project.

I am going through the back catalogue though and this model will be picked up with high quality photos in the next couple of months. http://www.CranesEtc.co.ukhttp://www.Twitter.com/CranesEtchttp://www.YouTube.com/CranesEtcTVCranes Etc on Facebook
