As you all know by now it has been a few weeks since the factory at the GM Plant was finally taken down in its entirety. Due to personal health issues with family I haven't been able to make a visit in the last month or so. I thought I would share some of the last images I took of the building being demolished by Testa Corp. As a result of a safety concern in one of my videos I am shut-off from showing you any new videos of GM, but Testa has many more projects in the works that I will show in in the coming months. This is a truck owned by one of the operators that was built at this plant. An crewcab GMC Sonoma Pickup. Second floor Assemby Line flooring is I beams with 8 foot by 20 foot steel 1/2 inch diamond plate welded in place. These are the stainless steel feed lines from the paint shop to the main building. Three Komatsu 1250's and the CAT 988. Dropping the upper level paint shops down to a more manageable working height. Working on a Sunday. Three 1250's rip, tear and shred the building apart. My 'money shot' photographed from a 60 foot man lift. 5 excavators 'processing scrap' and one End Dump.... Stephen SetteDucati, Manager of Marketing and MediaMCM Management Corp.
