Dose anyone have any info on this model. All I know is there will be 2500 BE and 500 RB made. I would love an RB. Dose anyone know what the price of this model will be or when it will be out. Here are some pics.

Gentlemen,

The Bucyrus-Erie 22-B Shovel will be $179.95, expected availability is the end of September 2008 or the beginning of October 2008.

Interesting website - I was totally unaware the BE models existed. Doesn't seem very pricy and what's not to like about an old classic? Think

Curious what the difference in the Ruston Bucyrus and the Bucyrus Erie? Isn't the Bucyrus Erie spelled wrong in the fifth pic?
I love those old Bucyrus Eries. Ive never ran a shovel but have driven hundreds on piling with ours through the years. Over 250 on this job out in Port Moller alone. All with a drop hammer. The operator is the hardest working man on the crew.

Lashlander, there isnt really any noticable difference in both types, the Ruston Bucyrus machine was made in Lincoln, England, from 1950 to 1974, some time after Ruston Hornsby Ltd merged with Bucyrus Erie Co in 1930 to form what was known in England as Ruston Bucyrus. Smile
