First I would appreciate the following dimensions from someone who owns the Norscot 1/50th version.
1. What is the width of the inside of the tires from side to side in inches?
2. What is the outside width from tire to tire in inches?
3. How wide are the tires?
4. Now in the real world does the front of the 657G weight more than the rear?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I just got mine on Sunday at the Ulster Construction and Agri Show. First impression was that it was huge and was it in fact 1-50, which it is. Inside of Tires 36mm or 1 3/8" Outside of tires 73mm or 2 7/8" Tire width 18mm or 3/4" Length end to end 14" Cant answer your question about the weights. Overall it looks a good model. Pity the ejector does not work. Hope it helps Engineering; Its all STRESS and not just Force over Area!

Check the detail on the CCM 637G. I wonder how hard it would be to add some of these details to the 657G? SLIGHT difference in cost, though.... http://www.ccmodels.com/closed-cat-637G.htmlalan627b

its a lot of work! Many of the changes I have specially made the castings, handrails, pipework, etc are all brass and a lot of the original metalwork as to be ground. KR R

That really looks great, I don't have any problem believing it took a lot of time. It does speak well of the models these days, that the base is good enough to lend itself to that kind of detailing. The CCM 637G still looks more detailed, but at $1500 it should. Your work sure did close the gap though! Some side by side modified VS stock pics, from the same angles, would better illustrate the level of your detailing, but just by looking at mine, I can see you did quite a bit! Fiqure out a way to make the ejector work yet? Great work, maybe someday I'll get my Arpra 621R/ NZG 627A hybrid done, so I can show off my 627B! best wishes to you, alan627b
