You know, when I first heard about this model I was pretty excited, but after seeing it my hopes dropped. In my option, I don't care for Terex's new design of their trucks at all! I like the look of the old classic Terex/Unit Rig trucks much better.

Here you go! Side by side two versions of the MT4400. The main difference is the size of the wheels: the old MT4400 has 40 R57 on 29" rims whereas the AC has 50/80 R57 on 32" rims. Considering the age difference between the models, I am pleased the two look so comfortable side by side. You can pick up the development differences quite nicely.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the pics. Could you also post a picture of the MT4400AC next to the Cat 797?

I'm still sitting on the fence trying to decide if I like this model,I can't get pass the huge amount of white on this model. I know these trucks are like this in real life, but I much prefer a bit of colour on my models this is highlighted when you view the model put side to side with another model as Richard has done.Again this is only my opion but I don't really want a shelf full of white mining models ie 996,994,282B,RH340.The big question I have is who will be first to make a few modifcations on this model..............over to you Mr Fowler.

Thanks for the pics Big John, and indeed Richard too. The MT4400ac is a beautiful model but if I spend any more £s this year I'll be joining all these banks and going bust.... Think

Graeme

Already have!

All machines entering the fleet have to meet minimum standards of health and safety signage and the MT4400AC was no exception. Note across the electrical boxes, front steps, etc.

Few more to go on yet and I have a few more fire suppression mods to do

RP Great pics...
I got my model yesterday.I like it a lot, still need to do some work on it...Fit and finish not as good as the TWH L-1850...
I think the paint finish is great though...
One question too those who know...What kind of Dump body is on this particular MT4400AC?Thanks...
