Just looking at a website for the up coming transformers 2 movie and they showed this. "Long Haul" as a decepticon. There's also this picture Click here for itAs it's way too large to post on here. If he is in the movie that would be sick, plus he looks huge. I wonder if there will be the other constructicons in the movie also. Excavator, dozers, loader etc...

They are suppose to bring the Constructacons back in Transformers 2 to form Devastator. That is what I have seen on some of the Transformers websites. I hope this is true. I can't wait till this comes out in the theaters!!!! Try this link to see what it looks like in color: http://transformers.moviechronicles.com/

This would be really cool if it turns out to be true. I can't see them doing Long Haul in any color other than Cat yellow in order to keep the realism of the movie disguises. If the concept robot design is actually a 797, then the robot should be larger in scale to the human silhouette than it is currently. It looks like the tires are too small for a 797 compared to the human.

I had hoped they would bring the Constructicons to the 2nd Movie, but I don't think it will be a Cat 797. Probably a smaller truck.

If you're not a transformers fan like some of us, I don't really think you'd understand "Devastator" and the "Constructicons" like some of us will. It would be interesting though to see what brand they go for if they are in the movie. I know Bumblebee was going to be a VW Bug, but VW didn't want their car and imagine involved with violence, so Michael bay picked GM. Would CAT feel the same way? Kamatsu? it would be interesting to see Devastator in the movie. I think Hook should be a Liebherr LTM-1220!

I think Hook should be a Liebherr LTM-1220! From what I heared they didn't use a VW Bug because they didn't want to have people confuse this car with another talking Bug... I like that they are going to use Arcee though. Would be interesting! Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

Yes Arcee will be interesting to see, She was going to be in the first film but was cut last minute. they didn't quite know how to fit her in. Also i'm very excited to see Soundwave!!!! When he was confirmed for #2 I nearly had a heart attack that was great news to hear. Wonder when / if we'll ever see a CGI Unicron / Galvatron! I still love in the movie when galvatron told unicron that he was HIS master, LOL! Oh man the memories!! here's a link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG4GaPcLgOs

On this concept sketch you can clearly see the 797 writings on the body.

Very neat, I can't wait to see it, wish I coulda seen the taping they did up at Bethlehem Steel this past spring. Whether or not it turns out to be a 797 brings two questions to my mind, first its a conceptional drawing, is it possible the artists looked for a photo of a haul truck and really don't realize the size of the truck they picked. Also, I'm a little (OK a lot) rusty on my old school transformer facts, but shouldn't there be some size similarities between all the Constructacons? and wouldn't using a 797 make that a lot harder to do? Just curious... I imagine we'll all find out soon enough:d/

But it was a cartoon and no real "scale" was ever used. the machines were drawn about the same height etc... If Devastator is in the movie it would be interesting to see exactly what machines are used. As for your first question, I believe you're right. I don't think he really knew the true size of the machine, if it was true scale it would be totally monstrous. Either way it's going to be awesome!

This is truly a great moment in time for a lot of us heavy equipment/ transformers junkies. I have to agree with Remko on this. I would have thought that for the constructicons, they would be sized according to eachother. For instance, a CAT 5230 excavator (scavenger) , 777 hauler (long haul), D11/D10 dozer (bonecrusher), 992 loader (scrapper) an AC 200 (hook) and prolly a made up oskosh-like severe-duty mixer for mix master, you would see these machines together on a work site. Those would be most accurate I would think. In addition, I have to express my pure giddy-ness that SOUNDWAVE is back!!! My personal favorite transformer, hell yeah Demag. So yeah, I am excited for this film.

It's kinda been officaly announced that Devastator will be in the movie. Hasbro stated that a "combiner" will be a supreme toy in cost of up to $50. Now we can only wait and see who's who and what's what!
