Shouldn't be allowed post images like those on a family forum these are pre production samples I'm betting so things might look off,but CCM being the awesome model makers they are do listen to their customer base, which is only a good thing, I can't wait to get my hands on one of each,I will genuinly have a tear in my eye when I get to hold them in my arms please CCM in the future you gotta produce a trio of 375's just like these,
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

WOW, absolutely stunning! CCM were definitely the right people for the job! I've waited for around 10 years for these pieces to be produced. I've ordered the 385CL and the 390DLME, I will probably remove the rock guard from my CL though to differentiate more between the two. Hopefully it's easily removable and not too incorporated into the cab design. Apart from the large cab lights, the only other thing that stood out to me is the hydraulic hose brackets on the boom cylinders, I would have thought they would paint them in black too. That said though, I would be still be over the moon if they arrived as pictured. Thank you CCM, most excited that I've ever been about a model! gbarnewall wrote:please CCM in the future you gotta produce a trio of 375's just like these, PS, from the CCM blog... Thank you. The first one is a 385C L and the 2nd one is a 390D ME, there is not much that separates them as a model other than the arm. When it comes to the real deal its another story. You will have to go by your own taste to choose wich one of them is "the better".

The impending release of these models raises the bar quite a lot in the 1/48~1/50 scale Caterpillar branded late model machines era, Norscot will have to ramp it up a lot to equal this and that can only mean good things for the collectors.

gohkleng wrote:Purposes is different in 390me? The purpose of a ME machine (ME = Mass Excavation) is that it has a shorter boom and stick wich makes it able to carry a bigger bucket and still have great digingforce. This enables the machine to load a dumptruck faster and therefor excavate a larger amount of dirt per hour. Perfect on a big road construction site, or in a quarry for example.

Tarantula,
Thanks for taking time to answer my query. Now I have an idea of what ME is... tks.
Me too, concern for its price... the value of USD dropped to its lowest, I wonder it may lead to higher sell price...

I wonder if they will really be available for November. I was talking about it with a friend of mine and he made me notice that there was no bolt detail on the sprockets. Also, I wonder why the cab isn't black on the 390D.
Maybe the bucket on the 385C could be modified too, it looks like the sides of the bucket are 3/4mm longer than the mounting bracket support, if you get what I'm talking about. I don't think anything else would need to be modified from what I see except the lights, but it has already been said.
Those will sure be a winner! My 385C L is already preordered.
