Thanks Graham for the sole reply, I thought there was a few mammoet fans on here, obviously not! Anyway not sure about the Actros numbers, the 926 was in and out in a flash just to plant those trees!! There's a good bit of decaling missing off the front of the truck so i'm waiting from a response from Mammoet and WSI Service, not sure where their QC is gone again, you'd think half the decals missing off the front of the tractor unit would have been spotted!!

wow Noel I just had a look at the Merc on a website, how the hell did they leave out that front stripe!!!!! thats a mega boo boo in my eyes, not wanting to spark off the whole WSI debate thing again,if that kept happening to me i'd send it straight back to WSI with a strongly worded letter, basically let them know they're finishing is a joke,

Very nice set Noel! Shame about the decals, hope you get that sorted out. I would think if it came direct from Mammoet they would swap it out for you, unless they are all like that? I think I am spent until next year or I might pick one up Take care, mark

I started another repaint the other day, I decided that my felbermayr fleet needed some bogies that could be used in push/pull combinations. So I kept an eye on ebay for awhile and eventually a suitable donor model came up! So here are the bogies as they stood just out of the box and fresh from ebay.. How it looked after painting: the wheels were a bit tedious to take off strip, paint and put back together due to the quantity of them.. All reassembled: Hitched up to a MAN TGA and MB Actros ready for work: And carrying its first load: Both drawbars were modified to fit the conrad hitches as the existing drawbars were far too chunky and out of scale: Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys, graham I must get started on those chains and straps this week, that shop you sent me to is a goldmine for accessories! Wayne these are nicolas bogies made by corgi. If you search for corgi heavy haulage or nicolas bogies in ebay they appear from time to time in different combinations. I got lucky with this lot as it came with 7 sets of bogies, 2 double line drawbars and 1 single line drawbar so if I ever want to set them up in a single line I can too. Paul their very handy repaints to do, once you get the wheels off its all plain sailing!

I recently decided to have a go at a custom Sarens MAN TGX to add to my fleet as I really like the new MAN trucks in the real Sarens fleet and I wanted a tractor unit to pull the boom of my Sarens LTM11200. So 1 conrad MAN TGX, a couple of tins of spray, some decals, a custom made toolbox and tower behind the cab, new beacon lights and a custom made removeable convoi exceptionnel sign for the front later and heres how she turned out.. Before Cab sprayed up After Just need to paint a suitable trailer now.
