The tekno goldhofer xle trailer was recently released in max wild livery with a factory altered king pin to fit the existing wsi max wild trucks. I couldn't pass this one up as I needed a trailer for my max wild 10x4 volvo. The trailer is a very impressive bit of kit, here's a few quick pics..

Modified king pin

I also picked up the new conrad Kahl 5 axle MAN TGX to go with the wsi one which came a few weeks ago..

I prefer the conrad as it is a much heavier and sturdier model with a much better ballast box and they have improved their detail on this one, plus the red on the wsi version seems a little off. Think

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

When I went down to the yard this morning I was greeted by a convoy of trucks delivering a brand new Sarens Liebherr LR1280, just managed to get a few quick pics before they unloaded and left to collect the rest..

Very nice 1280 Noel! I really like that in Sarens livery. I do like that Max Wild Tekno Goldhofer too, I must have missed that post. Do you know of any still around??

Thanks, Mark

Thanks lads, graham those yard surfaces are quite common around these parts! Wink

Wayne, I found this one on ebay, if you keep an eye on it they pop up from time to time. I was also considering repainting one before this came along. I was gonna use a prangl one because the tracks, undercarriage and boom sections are already the correct colour for sarens yellow and its only the upper structure that would have to be painted blue. I was lucky enough that the seller actually never even assembled this one or took it out of the box so its in new condition.

Mark, those max wild goldhofers are still available, i'll pm you the details.

Well the pictures have been returned, the sherriff managed to catch up with the Ulf crew somewhere in the desert.. I think the heavy raincoats with pockets bulging full of pictures were weighting them down Shame on you

Anyway here's 2 mother and baby crawler crane pics I took this morning, just shows the sheer size of the 8800!

Hello lads, my 6 Big Move MB Actros models arrived today to add to the 2 existing MAN TGX models in the series. Their nice models but I was a bit disappointed when 5 out of 12 models had loose parts rattling around in the boxes (I had to get 6 for gus also, 12 in total). Better QC and packaging wouldn't go a stray. Anyway, its nothing too major and we should be able to fix most of it, we just shouldn't have to though with the amount these things cost! One out of 12 would be acceptable but 5?

Here's a few pics, sorry for the quality but i'm running out of space and had nowhere decent to set them up! Actros' first..

The 2 MAN's..

And the full set so far..

Thanks for looking Smile

Nice set there. I was toying with getting these but decided against it. I don't often buy just the tractors because I like either a trailer or at least a ballast box Smile

Perhaps I'll give in yet though!

I think the word is Actri Noel Teeth and the collective term for a group of Actri is "A Geansaí Load" lol

they do look a tasty truck, the chrome rims look great, you'll have to get the cotton buds now to polish them up for future snaps,

Now to find 8 Goldhofer XLE's lol
