Hi all. Santa came too early for me this year as they came from the other side of the pond. Here are some pics of my newest addition to the fleet. I got lucky to find this models in stock at wagenborg store and they are very good people as they sent me a few hats and a good size bag. Thanks wagenborg team. Here are the three trucks ready to work. Well thats it for today. Until next. SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING. http://s1185.photobucket.com/home/vipyfz2008/indexhttp://www.youtube.com/user/vipyfz?feature=mheeluis.

Quite the Wagenborg collection there Luis! Plus a couple more being added in the future with the Tadano Faun due at some point and the Scania with Palfinger announced.
This livery has turned out to be very good in terms of numbers of models that have been produced. I don't recall how many there are now but there's several.

The LR 1750 is a nice model and the only LR to my knowledge with a floating CW tray as opposed to the wheeled version. I was looking through my Wagenborg models and can't believe it was around 2011 when the concrete beam hauler was released! Paul R

I am also looking for that model, (it's not needed in a hurry) for a project. Wish Mammoet store would bring a model like that to the market.
Mammoet- Size does Matter.

Yea, I like how they are starting to make the booms lock at different stages now like the real ones.

Great model that one. The only LR 1750 I'm aware that has the floating ballast tray? Just set up my Sennebogen 5500 next to it Paul R

Paul how is the 5500 Sennebogen as I don't own any of them. Hi Luis, The Sennebogen 5500 is quite basic compared to other models available today, but then it has been around for a while now. I got the model for a good price and it looks quite good in my opinion. I will try and get some photos. Paul R

Luis some info i found in the past LIEBHERR Liebherr 630 EC H-40 S2 pendant bars & P2 P3 pins fit the SENNEBOGEN 5500 Starlifter SENNEBOGEN Sennebogen 5500 Starlifter Small boom sections fit the Liebherr hs 885 (info from michael newnham) SENNEBOGEN 55000 STARLIFTER it's a good play model & a strong model for braking down for transport dio's boom winch was weak - would not hold weight - so i drilled in the top side of the drum & used a pin to stop it dropping under weight i used other hook blocks as you can see easy to assemble the plastic boom pins can be tight to push in. tracks & boom head sheaves are plastic but no problems the reeving i found a real PITA its very easy for it to jump sheaves when doing it. all in all i think it's a good lower cost model crane. forum search on the 5500: http://forums.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=search.
