Instead of click it for the 5500 starlifter I pull the trigger for the derrick set for my lg 1550 and this will complete this model the way I wanted it.
hope you guys enjoyed the pictures. Good choice Luis though somewhat of a price difference! Derrick set is a great addition though I've just taken off the Derrick from my Thoemen model in favour of the hydraulic boom only. I've also just rigged up my Grohmann LTM 1800 with luffer .Happy days And yes I enjoy your pictures! Paul R

Thanks guys for your comments. I am back with a little update to my mammoet cc8800. On this project I used the iner section of the original model as I wanted to use the locking system and it came out just the way I wanted it. It has 34 cw stones and no problems for right now. Here is some pics of the results. Here is at half extended position. Fully extended. and is holding a big column at a good radius. I still need to do some details on the tray. Nice job indeed
The Demag CC 8800 does look really look good with a floating ballast tray . May i ask you a question ? .The metal pennant lines your are using " VipCranes " on your re-painted CC 8880 , are these pendant lines made by YCC Models or ?

Garner Hi Garner. The pendant lines I am using in the model are the ones from conrad. I contacted them and ask for a set of them for the wagenborg lr 1750 and they send me o new set. hope this helps.
