Guy could you shed a little light on that blue crane truck, it must be used for light duty lifting. Steve

Steve, The crane was built in former East Germany by VEB Schwermaschinenbau Kirow and was capable of lifting 7 tonnes at 2 metres: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autodrehkran_70I hope it helps. Guy

Guy: Where do you store all of these beautiful trucks? I never see dust on them. Craig

Steve Difficult to state definitively as I have never seen such a crane truck. You could well be right, as the truck driving wheel is normally located on the left side of the cab facing forward, with right seat turned backwards to operate the crane. There is not much room left to house any crane (hydraulic?) controls, except for both cabinets which are located at the back of the cab (see "Commons: TAKRAF ADK 70" link at the bottom of the Wikipedia article). Regards. Guy

Nice models Guy. Exkavate3140 and Quinella - don't infect other posts with your abuse. This kind of rubbish drives people away from forums. You might enjoy it, but I don't want to read it - I just want to talk models and modelmaking.

I do hope that you have not been banned because of your post. Other forum members have been banned for far less in the past. Looking forward to seeing photos of your next project!

First Weserhutte, jamie would not be banned. If Chuck were upset, he would be with Steve and me. We did get carried away. But we made our apologies and have moved on. I would hope that you could as well. And I do hope Steve will continue here, as he has a wealth of knowledge to contribute. Craig
