I find it strange you snapped up the Tekno Kranringen Scania, after you nominated the Tekno Mammoet Daf with HIAB as "Flop of the year" due to the poor functionality of the hiab and outriggers? hmmmm
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Nothing strange at all really. It is true that I felt the DAF was and is the flop of the year due to the outrigger issue. However, as a static model in transport position it does look nice. I also have all Mammoet models, bar 2. One of which is the PTC DS and I don't see me getting that anytime soon! I like the Mammoet collection so I wanted to keep it up.
Thanks,
Paul R

When you do decide to rig all them cranes up give me a shout, i'll travel up, help you and we'll go for a pint or 10. Have you spoke to jibtickler recently? he has news . I had a cuppa with him on the A1 on wednesday, said he had thousands of pictures to send you!!! lol Happy birthday my man. Gaz

Cheers Gaz. Model room is being sorted but it won't be cheap, hence the wait. I had heard along the grapevine about jibtickler but not an 'official' word yet! I gotta meet you guys sometime! We really should have a beer or 10 and just have a good time! Claire (my wife) actually contacted Ainscough about driving a crane for a day! They couldn't help of course but I love her for trying!! But I now have an R8 to drive for a couple of hours Paul R

Happy Birthday Paul! You've a very big collection. I advice You to choose very good show-case to have dust protection in particularly in the open side. Just a an example: http://www.nordestvetrine.com/eng/nev/index.php?c=3
