I'd be nice if Norscot gave everyone a Christmas present and dropped their prices a bit, not complaining, just saying. It's apparent that the economy is effecting model makers. Its just funny to see how prices creep up over time.

Cat 777D--around $45.00
Cat 793D--around $60.00 (for waffle body version)
Cat 793D--around $90.00 (for power edge logo version)
Cat 772--around $60.00
Cat 785D--around $140.00
Cat 797F--around $280.00

These prices are from what I've seen for the "1st production run" of the models.

Its funny to think that a 793D, which is bigger than a 785D (obviously), was selling for around $90 just last year, and the 785D is $140. But not as funny as the 772 costing as much as the 793D (waffle body). But, thats life I guess.

I agree with GraniteFan. To buy starting models you can't have a starting salary, you need to have an executive salary to build up a collection in these hard times. I do like the quality of the models coming out so I'll keep buying more, just at a slower rate. One good thing about the higher prices, its getting closer to get "wife approval" for say ASAM purchases compared to just Norscot purchases.
