Municipal/State/County/Turnpike/Tollway/DPW/Highway Dept. versions of the Oshkosh P Series truck. Equipped with right, left (or BOTH) side wing plows, big one-way front plow (or big V, or BOTH), either a combo dump body (dump body/salt spreader like a Temco or AirFlo) or V-Box salt spreader, available in 4x4 and 6x6 versions (don't have to be AllSteer versions, duallie rears would be nice for a change on the P series), available in Oshkosh Yellow or Oshkosh Orange, maybe even red or green like some upstate NY municpal and county rigs. This is one of thier best HD truck molds... time to get more mileage out of it than just an airport plow!!

I would say a tandem rear wheel International WorkStar 7000 series with a one-way front plow, a side wing, and the combination dump body.... our Dept of Transportation just bought a bunch of these last year after Sterling closed up shop.... they have Larochelle equipment on them..... Plow w/ wing and sander - http://www.larochelle.ca/en/produits/produits.htmlTruck (something like this) - http://www.truckpaper.com/listings/detail.aspx?ohid=1896968

Ford f-550 service truck, I don't care what livery as long as there is a white version.
1990's generation of the ford f-250, almost every contractor in the U.S. has one of these truck as one of their fleet vehicles, they are trustful work horses for their drivers, they get the job done, and are very common
Easy to make, should be probable, and will be affordable.

some heavy haul trailers, other than the 3x3x3 that's out now, or the Rogers 55 ton, how about something like an 85 ton beam trailer, maybe a 2x2x2 or 3x3x3 made for hauling equipment, c'mon Chuck, I know you guys can knock this one out of the park!

I must say Sword really missed their train with the T800W, they should have included a new trailer like maybe a 4 axle trailer with a 2 axle dolly or a narrow beam trailer or something along those lines... I just think they shouldn't have used the same previous tooling and just add an extra axle... and I also think they should sale their trailers separately... -Mark

Why no one has made these F-250 trucks in 1:50 scale?

I'm aware of that...I meant all or most of their trailers to provide custom set-ups for the collectors... -Mark

Id say since theres no other 1:50 scale pickup on the market (never has been for that matter) These 2009 ford's are it right now, call up ford , ask them for a license to market there product . Haha wish it was that easy, but hey they got em in 1:87 and they even have accesories . I would guarentee these would sell out soon as they hit. Someone please realize there is a high demand for a new 1:50 scaled pickup. No not the crappy one tonka. If only we could get these with the same detail attention as DCP Chevy silverado Pic size is big its the only one i found. Im sure more than a few collectors would like these.

Ya'll also have to realize that I think Sword has to get permision from these companies to make models. I dont thing any ones opinions matter after the whole dissing topic on the T800 grill. Jake "Building the future!"

I doubt GM would license a product of a line that they are discontinuing. Trucks from the 4500 and up are going to cease production soon, if they havent already.

WOW Here goes the t800 again. I have posted twice in one day; this is a record. I do not think I have ever posted twice in a year. I have the perfect solution for the T800 and I think DHS would even like this idea. It will also correct the new idea of a seperate new trailer for the T800. Chuck would probally be gratefull for anyone wanting to design a new grille that could be inter-changeing on the T800. And gratefull for anyone to do the design work for a new trailer. If I had to guess, it would probally cost the individual about $75,000 to $100,000 for the new trailer tooling and around $25-50,000 in legal fees to reach a lisc. agreement with the trailer company. (these are cost out of pocket before you even produce the first item for sale) So I say those who are casting the stones (not people making suggestion request) "PONY" up the funds and all can be corrected. After all it only takes money. With the economy booming today I sure everyone has plenty to spend. Respectfully Submitted, Keith
