If I get nothing else this year, it will be this! That looks to be a really fine model, when is it supposed to be out now? Doesn't look like a spring delivery?

im not sure when it will be shipped out but im hoping around May at least. but TWH says they will have 2 31000 models on display at conexpo. they are delayed due to the chinese new year, so im not sure how far back they are delayed. but i dont want them to rush it as i want it perfect for the price we're paying. looks well worth it to me already. I wonder if the doors on the carbody will open for the engine compartment?

no problem WinkAni

Yes we don't want them to rush it,as you said Brandon for the money it needs to be perfect, not like the problems with the 18000,not saying the 18000 was a bad model but it did have a few issues, like bent/warped boom/ butt sections and lazy winches, hopefully this will be rectified on this model,we can only hope, looking forward to their progress.
I'm starting to think it might be mid year before this beast comes out at least, considering the promo/modelling shots are only 1 month old,but I'm sure knowing twh, everthing will open and shut, they do like to add detail.

Those photos are amazing. Not too often we get to see any model during this stage of development!

From the pics the 31000 is looking really well. It will prob take longer to release them. Sometimes its worth the wait. I thought the carbody would be alot bigger. looks almost the same size as a 18000? Idk have to wait and see

I was noticing something people tend to get confused on. The carbody is actually the frame that connects to the track frames and supports the swing bearing.

Nice looking model so far, it sure will be neat to see it finished.
