Oh baby, incredible! I will own this thing someday! To bad that the CWs are empty, hopefully it's got enough ass to hold the boom at low angles. Anybody wanna borrow me $2500 that I'll pay back in small increments

id love to get one but i dont have the space  plus i think id be much happier with the PTC. so do you have to fill the containers yourself or is some kind of ballast supplied?

About as far as I can get. Off to the pet store to buy some (47lbs) fish aquarium gravel for ballast.

wow! look at the tiny max-er! thats ridiculous you spend all that money and they dont supply ballast or instructions! not that the experienced collectors may need it but still be nice to have  looks like that corner was made for that model!

Done for the day, 45lbs of aquarium gravel, just the boom and hook block reeving left (after I remove the ceiling fan that is) Say what you want about the "plain appearance" of this model, words cannot describe the ridiculous size of this model and the presence of it compared to the little Manitowoc 18000!!!

Nice one Bryan  Is that desk going to be able to hold the weight? "I cant believe they haven't supplied Ballast" ....... Imagine how much the shipping would be if each one of those containers were full? Go and get a couple of bags of kiln dry sand to put in them!

Hello guys,
Instructions ARE INCLUDED! We received them separately after the initial models were shipped. They are on their way - but looks like one guy got his up already without them!
The instruction manual is very detailed - it is a small novel with lots of photos. They will be included from now on with every model.
The ones that shipped were all sent separately. If anyone still does not have instructions, please contact us!
Think about this guys - there is no way to supply ballast with these models. We would never be able to ship them because of the weight. As it is, they are difficult to ship. How hard is it to find sand/ballast locally, huh?
These models are fantastic! We still have some available for sale if you are interested. Worth every penny!

Chuck, I think you should market and sell "SGC-120 Ballast Expansion Kits" which would contain the same ballast we can find locally, but would be packaged in a box badged with Sarens. Just think you could charge more than twice the original price and the cookie crowd will still buy it!

Congratulations with your SGC-120 Bryan , very impressive model. I am not gone buy the the SGC-120 but i would definite go for a bag of Sarens labeled sand called : SGC-120 Ballast Expansion Kit  Eef
