has anyone ever noticed that komatsu only put there name on one side of the boom on some models

Remember when it comes to equipment the older and more obscure the better

A Cat 225 will beat a 320EL hands down

From memory, the one sided boom decals had something to do with traditional good luck.

Found these in the old model storage box last few weeks. Also have the 12-HT, but don't know where it hided.

This seems to be something that only happens with Komatsu for some reason. I'm not aware of any excavator models from other Pacific region manufacturers with this peculiarity.

The latest example is the Replicars PC200-10, yet the domestic brochure shows the machine with the right side of the boom clearly labeled, but it could be "shopped".

In the end; you just display them with their good side.
