Even though it does not call Pennsylvania home, the biggest crane that did a lift in PA was Lampsons LTL-2600 in 2007 at a Sunoco Refinery in Philadelphia.

While my small country does not have any states (probably the size of the smallest town in the United States? Its that small!), we do have a CC8800 owned by Tat Hong, sometimes stationed on an offshore island that we use for oil and gas production. It appeared on national news once as being the largest crane in Singapore(And still is now). Here's a picture of it taken by someone else (credits to him/her). Possibly taken when it's still at the manufacturing plant's storage yard. No idea.

Chesepeak 1000 was in my town awhile back unloading vessels for a Cogenerating plant !  The LTL 2600 was in the bayway refinery in Linden and can be glimpsed in the opening of "The Sopranos" Immortaliized forever !" Chet

I'm gonna take a stab here. As joepipefitter said, there are a lot of operators in Alberta/Western Canada. I'll try and list the major Ones Northern Crane Services has a LTM 11200 and a LTM1800/LG1550  They also have a 18000 with MAX-ER Sterling Crane, another operator, has a AC700 and a CC8800 Sarens has a Canadian Office here in Nisku. I've seen a AC500 at the local mall lifting steel.

In Washington, DC the largest crane is Crane Rental Company, Inc.'s Grove GMK 6300.
Within the Virginia suburbs W. O. Grubb usually has a Grove GMK7550 (GMK7450 in Europe). The also have Manitowoc 16000s (440 tons) and several Liebherr LR 1400/2s. There is a rumor out that they have a Liebherr LT 1600/2 on order. The latter is unconfirmed. That is probably the biggest in Virginia.
The largest currently in Maryland is Digging and Rigging's Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1. This is followed by Crane Service Co.'s Grove GMK 7550. The largest in Baltimore is a 350 ton AT for W. O. Grubb though Maxim may be leaving an LTM 1400-7.1 in Baltimore. This machine was formerly Philadelphia based. I've heard that this may change next April. Watch the Conexpo Liebherr stand if my information is correct. L.R. Wilson and Sons has several Manitowoc M250 machines when it comes to crawlers.
I've stuck to machines owned by area companies as All has had a Manitowoc 18000 in the Virginia suburbs. Largest for Essex was a Manitowoc 4100 ringer at the Verizon Center. Buckner has also had a Liebherr LR LR 1350 or LR 1400/2 at the DC Convention Center.

Here in Australia, New South Wales where I am, we have Lampsons main yard which houses M18000 and 4600 ringers, and apparently a LTL of some size. Also Booms LR1750 is based here but will be sent around country as needed.

The largest in Baltimore (if we include floating cranes) is probably McLean's Centennial and/or Cape Fear whirleys. Their capacities aren't "impressive", (250 Ton and 150 Ton, respectively) but they are rated at 50' with working boom lengths. I worked out the load moments and it puts them roughly equivalent to an 800 ton crawler. My dad used to work for Mclean and I had the privilege of sitting in the seat of a few of their whirleys as a very excited 10 year old....
Also, is that M-250T still around the Baltimore waterfront?
DC Craneman, when I was younger (maybe 12-15 years ago) I remember driving around near Woodbridge, VA and driving past a yard with two very large crawlers with luffing jibs. I think they were Liebherrs.... Does that ring a bell?

The big Liebherr crawlers in the area belong to W. O. Grubb and are headquartered in Richmond though both the LR1350 and various LR1400/2s have been up in the area. They have been used in Landover, Maryland and on the 95 corridor in Virginia as well as other northern Virginia locations including Tysons. They also used the 1350 at the Department of State in DC.
When thing of cranes, I did not think of the shipyard or barge mounted units. I haven't been around the Baltimore waterfront in a while to know whether the M250T is still around. I do remember Tidewater's 300 ton P&H truck crane that at one time worked the port.

Good Ole' South Dakota doesn't really have very large cranes the largest being a Manitowoc 11000.1

Right now where I am working we have a CC2800 and a CC8800 doing 4 tandem vessel lifts. Actually vessel removal. From vertical back to horizontal.

Here in southern Va all W.O.Grubbs big crawlers (LR1400/2, LR1350/1, CC2200, CC1500)(Plus 2-3 200 ton plus Link-Belt crawlers and 20 or so RT's) are in Brunswick County building a power plant. Also Mammoet has there CC2400-1 and there CC2800-1. Mammoet has a lot of Heavy Haul equipment there as well. You cant get close really to get pics. I grabbed a few on my phone from the road at 60+ mph. Its on 58 about 6-7 miles west of 95.
