Thanks everyone. The piece took about an hour or so to set, it was put in today at 2:30pm. On page 19 on this page, the beam is double the size of this one - 113.2 tons. Other photos from yesterday

Great work. I am envious of your ability to watch this on a daily basis.
Camera wise need a good telephoto for my new body but have not decided on size versus aperature sizes.

I was there picking right in front of the Hilton Thurs. night. We are picking wall fragments originally poured in the early 1900's. 4-12 every Tues and Thurs. Also going back to start placing all the artifacts we set a few weeks ago down in the Memorial..That one you guys will have to wait to see until later this year.. Discovery special coming soon...

A 70-200mm 2.8 is always a good choice (depending on your budget) Do you have a full frame or a DX camera? If you have a DX I would say get the 70-200 because the 1.5x crop gives you more reach, for a FX I would go with a 70-300mm, not the best f/ but it works for what I do! mmhh I wonder what this means "Thank you, again, for selecting World Center Hotel."

For example, a 100mm lens on a 1.6x sensor would have the same viewing angle as a 160mm lens on a full frame sensor, but it would still just have the same magnification of a 100mm lens.

^ yes I know that, I was just saying that if he has full frame, it would make more sense to get a 300mm if they want good zoom. a 200mm would be better for a cropped body because it would be more like a 320mm rather than just having 200mm on a 35mm body. an example, 28mm on a full frame is wide angle , but on a cropped body its a 45mm.
