Another nice package day today, though I have to say one model sustained more damage than I'd like. But I managed to piece it back together and then told WSI Service about it.

Doniz MB Actros with telestep

Perhaps not an immediate choice for everyone but I thought it was something different in terms of livery.

I have been waiting for this one Smile Unfortunately it was one I had to repair

BOLK Transport Volvo 8x4 with MWT

But despite the issues it is one great looking model!

This one is not disappointing and one of the best models with a Palfinger to date!

Thanks for sharing. Love the paint and decals on these models. You see very few real or model American trucks with anything close to this type of craftsmen ship.

Got these two models recently in the great looking livery of Ayala from France:

Volvo 6x4 with telestep and blade

Volvo 8x4 with telestep and blade - one of only 10 made in this set

Hi Paul, amazing pics as always. The Ayala looks great! Why were there only 10 produced, and how did you manage to score one?!? I also love the Malcolm low loader from Teckno, but those aren't even out yet. How did you manage to obtain that one? You must have some amazing connections. :D

Hi ChandlerYohn,

The guy who commissioned the Ayala contacted me directly before it went on general sale. I had one and there were only 2 left that made it to general sale. They sold in less than 24hrs I think.

The Malcom has been available for quite some time now but has been sold out for a while also. It is a great looking model though!

Hi Paul, thanks so much for your follow up. You definitely have an amazing network of model collectors. With respect to the Malcolm, my vendor has indicated that they will have stock around Dec of this year, so I hope he is right as it is a gorgeous model. I only just received my Ristimaa Tiger model, so maybe there is hope. :D

On the Malcolm, did you notice a difference in the yellow between the cab and the equipment tower on the back? In your pics it seems like that is the case, but I was just wondering if maybe it was lighting.

Thanks again, always great to hear from you. Take care and all the best.

ChandlerYohn,
I'm not sure why your vendor won't have stock until December, unless he is meaning the Malcom Scania with tipper trailer? I think this model is due around then.

You are right about the yellow but the pictures exaggerate reality.

As for contacts, when you've been in the game for a few years, you make some friends along the way.

Hi again Paul, you're right, it definitely helps to have friends in high places. Smiley I checked the Tekno site and it indicated a delivery time of 4th quarter 2013 http://www.tekno.nl/en/wf-malcolm-64267.html for the low loader so maybe there is a second batch. Thanks for clarifying the colouring issue, glad to hear the colour difference is a little more subtle than in the pics.

The Malcolm Scania dump truck looks like it will be available early in the New Year (as you indicated) http://www.tekno.nl/en/65186-malcolm.html, so hopefully I'll be able to add both of them to my collection with my other Malcolm liveried models. I think they look brilliant.

Take care and all the best.

I have filled the order form from their website. But they didn't get back to me.

They don't ship worldwide?
