Update:

There has not been anything going on machine related at the site, the M16000 in the foundation has not lifted any big iron in a few weeks and will not pick until after the new year. Tower one (Freedom tower only has a few more office floors to go, after that it is time to put the antennae on. Should be a great view from my house, I will be sure to take lots of photos of that.

Lomma/Ny Crane's LTM1250 is going to the site tonight, most likely to disassemble something.

No more updates for a long time- no equipment work is being done that can be seen from street level, except for the cranes of course, but it is hard to catch them doing something worth photographing. After the VSC is completed, that is probably all for major machine work. The 16000 unloaded a 75,000lb beam yesterday.....the 16000 is about the only thing I haven't taken photos of yet (in that particular spot of the site)...that's it for now..

check this out, by a worker in the vsc.

Nice shot. The very wide one. Well at least but not last you have the 16000 still.

The LTM1500 is on site again and is taking down a Link Belt TG2300 at Tower 2. In the hub, a Favco 760 was removed and placed on sliding rails with a heavy lift head. Tower 1 was on the 100th floor March 30, so by now I think it is on the 101st floor. It is great to see the World Trade Center re-take the skyline and even better to see the construction from my window, what a good view!
