Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

European ZX850/ZX870 = Asia ZX1000K

Anything bigger uses a chassis from Sumitomo crawler crane who are a partners with Hitachi. EG: Hitachi ZX1400K

The Hitachi ZX870 model from WSI is stunning, and i have uploaded a review of the version with multi-quick processor to my website. Click the picture below to check it out.

Great review there Steven! It does seem to be quite an amazing model and appears to have raised the bar somewhat for this type of model. Not sure that I'll be getting it though if I saw it in person I think I might be tempted.

Nice photos with the review as well!

I'm looking forward to some NZG vs WSI pictures and reviews. I know it's apples and oranges in a casting sense but I am already getting the sense that WSI have set a very high benchmark. Congrats, I hope they continue with more Mass Excavation models, they will be snapped up

There are only 1000 models made in each config. so I don't know iff they will do any company colors.
Since it are WSI models a few Dutch companys come to mind, Beelen demolition( green white) Abeko (yellow) Boskalis (grey yellow) Van Groningen Demolition ( green white).

would be nice to put the demo boom and undercarrage from the 1000 and put it on the 870, not shure what else would have to be done though

Probably just easier to put 870 decals on the 1000!

You'll have the 1000 shown as a 870, you're right but, will you have the same amount of detail as if you put the boom and undercarriage on a 870?

I don't think so Wink

Got my hands on one of these last week, what an outstanding model! WSI have really raised the bar with this one, I really hope they do a Hitachi 1200 next. Has anyone heard anything about them doing anymore dirt models?
