The sterett rig is a series 2, I don't know how many generations there are of this model but the sterett rig doesn't look all that old. I've looked at photos of other 2500s and they all still have the same cwt design Must be an option to buyers or just the American market, I don't know I don't pay a lot of attention to kobelcos, barely see any around here
