If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you should do it the way i told you to in the beginning.

Sorry to hijack the thread:

Eric,

What's the dio background you have going on there? Could you post some more pix, please?

Bug

Bug,

Well, the dio is a perfect example of making the most out of the cards life deals you. on a past project, I came across this model of a steam recompression plant. (an exact replica of one of the buildings we dismantled)

for scale reference, was is 1/3 of the structure

the owners of the project had no interest in it, but I looked at it and said, NO WAY is that going into a debris box. so I meticulously dismantled the model into 10 boxes and shipped it to my former home in michigan, via UPS (United Punting service) when it arrived, everything was flattened except this one section.

So it got turned into the start of a demo dio, fortunately, now I have boxes upon boxes of plastruct beams left over from the wreckage, and can reconstruct a building in virtually any shape I want!

Absolutely, I've been building demo models and attachments for over 10 years, just picked up that model 2 years ago.

Though realistically, that building is way too heavy for a 330, this is more like it Teeth

O ok

There was a gas plant that wanted a model of it and my dad got to build it, it is very cool and has lots of detail, if they ever get rid of it i will be receving it the best thing is that it is in 1:50 scale so it will fit my caterpillarsTeeth

Eric,

Well life can't get much better than that, can it?

Shame about the UPS doing you wrong, that would have been one amazing set up!

Thanks for sharing. One day I hope to build something similar.

Or I guess I could just buy this? Teeth
