The models are not cheap at the Bauma. The Liebherr MK88 is 255 Euro the LR1300 358 Euro + 244 Euro for the derrick kit the Volvo Ec 460 is 105 Euro the Liebherr 944 tunnel excavator 120 Euro But the winner is the Volvo EC 20c mini excavator for 84 Euro I wonder,if you scratch off the Volvo paint,is there any massive silver or gold underneath? Jan If those are the prices at DHS, wich converts to about 140 bucks, Im may only buy 1 460. I'm broke on model money right now. I bought a some IH stuff and the D51PX. Anybody knw when DHS will start stocking these?

The dio at the TreviBenne stand was fantastic! The Case 800 looked awesome with that big crusher. Are they for sale yet? I got to have a couple of those! The Case CX 240B Long reach was also a very nice model. I myself got the Liebherr TA 230 ADT and the new Soilmec SR 100 foundation machine. I also saw the Bauer BC 40, but that's not available until september. I can't wait though, the prototype shown at the Bauer stand looked great! The Liebherr ADT is a very nice model. A bit expensive (€ 78 euro's) but the level of detail is outstanding, especially for a Conrad model. They really made a good model. Additional railings and rear view mirrors are included, and the model has a full working suspension. Although these parts are mostly plastic. The rear tailgate functions very well, but isn't as fragile as on the Moxy/Doosan MT 51 from NZG. It lacks an opening engine cover though, which is a pitty. The Soilmec.. Well.. WOW!!! Huge model! It's about the size of the Bauer BG 40 from Brami/Bymo. A lot of detail and functions. Extendible tracks, removable rear counterweight (which is secured better than on the Bauer BG 40, and is closed on the inside), the undercarriage also features central outriggers so the machine can be jacked up for removal of the tracks (which is not possible on the model as far as I can see). The attachment is also huge!! A big diameter drill, with a secondary tube along side. I have yet to figure out how it all works, but I'm pretty sure it can be broken into pieces for easy transport (the leader features many points of articulation/folding), I know the outer drill casing is removable. There's also a hose attached for pumping the concrete (bentonite) to the leader, and there's a tube along side the left side of the machine running from front to back which can be attached to a pumping station or a mixer. For all those foundation enthusiasts, you would not be disappointed with this model. Hopefully DHS will have them available soon. Price was steep (at € 210 euro's more than the Bauer BG 40) but definately worth it. I'll post some photo's of both models soon.

So that's how they make Swiss cheese......Many new (exciting) things to come.
I personally will be wanting at least one of the Liebherr TA230 trucks....the model looks great and the truck itself is growing on me (look-wise).
The demolition diorama looks great.

While I realize that the convention is in Germany (I have enjoyed all the Liebherr photos ), but has anyone taken some shots of the 374Dlme (BF24 has 1 photo) or the 336E at the Caterpillar booth yet? Looks like it's another great show! - Chris
