Just looked back through your collection - the Demag shovel is brilliant!!! WOW. I have some work to do to get to that level of realism.

J, you are doing well too, I really liked the old Massey tractor.

OAF, not only your vehicles look fantastic, but your diorama as well!

Not an expert, but also a weathering fan, but IMHO the only thing about weathering wheeled vehicles is looks like people don't pay much attention to tires. Those should show excessive wear, cuts, sometimes unmatched tire brands, even opposite tread patterns.


I am into this project right now, hence why I don't post much on here nowadays (but I shall return to 1:50 next year...):

Started from a bare brass C40-8W, then converting to DCC+sound/LED, paint job, all bells and whistles, then weathering of course.

Those trucks,look so good.I really,like the look,with those set back axles,and bigger wheels.What are they?I have Conrad,and they look different.
