It took me just under 2 years to build this truck. It was a lot of fun. The transmission and the controls were the most challenging, but after a lot of tinkering it all works and it is fully remote controlled. The right stick controls the acceleration and the steering, the left one is for the 4-speed power-shift transmission. There are 2 other switches, one for forward, neutral and reverse, the other for dump hold and lower.
I found the right kind of spray paint and I am very pleased with the result. I still need to add some decals and I will also prop up the front suspension. The powerpack is quite heavy!

What a beast! I would love to see it in person. It must have such a satisfying weight and bulk to it. Great model.

I’ve been watching you build this for awhile now. All I can say is WOW!! Unbelievable craftsmanship!!
I want to shrink myself down, get in the cab and go haul a few loads!
That is a work of art. Be proud!

Are you an enviromentist, or do you work for a living?

Kerst, that is outstanding. Icing on the cake for all of us would be a video of it being put through its paces. Your skills are beyond belief.
