Wow.I have only ever seen black and white photos of that Pegaso truck,in a very old truck book.!They had an eight wheel version,i think.Never thought I would see a 1/50 model.Always liked the look of those Pegaso types.They look very similar to a Scammell.

modelmaniac, The Pegaso with that type of cab was nicknamed "Cabezon" in Spain, which could be translated by "Stubborn". Spain had, at that time, very specific GVW rules for trucks, allowing up to 38 tonnes for a 8x2/4 (with dual tires on rear tandem), hence the large number of muliwheeled units like the ones below:    By the way, the model above is not 1/50, but 1/43. Remember seeing that 'Chinese six' truck,with twin wheel steer,with the one axle supporting the load.Always thought the frame would have some stress points.The eight wheel truck looks like it could cope with the load.I'm sure the weight is better on two axles.I simply put 1/50.  EVERYTHING on here is 1/43!LOL!

With that Hales cakes trailer,that must be a Bedford.What is the other tractor?Looks like a Berliet,or Saviem.

You're right: the bottom tractor is a Bedford, while the top one is a Berliet.

In South-East of France, delivery of cement bags by a Bonifay combination(*):     Note (*): Bonifay is a construction equipment delivery company located in the Var region - like me. A. Bonifay, the boss, is famous in the vintage trucks restoration business for meticulously taking back to life all sorts of old trucks his company used in the past. It is a pity that this nicely-made Magirus-Deutz tractor ended coupled to a so long semi-trailer, as in those days in France, semis were much shorter. Regards. Guy
