My ERTL John Deere 1/16th Scale 7830 Dealer Edition Tractor arrived today and wow! It's big! And super detailed, I just don't know where I'm going to find room for it. It was also very, very reasonably priced. Here are a couple of pics....

i love milling machines. my favorite though is the wirtgen w2000.

i'm hoping they will make a new one that is just as detailed as the f100w that is out now. that thing has legs that raise and lower.

I do too!!!!!

I've got the Wirtgen W100 and it is way cool, with the positionable discharge conveyor to the three different cutting heads!!! I really am glad I got it!!

I want to get an RX-700 because I've seen the real ones in operation, had a few pics on here awhile back, they were doing some night work on the road in front of where I live.

They had an RX-700 and a Dynaplane doing the milling (until the last lane then they had two RX-700s and the Dynaplane, had a bicycle lane to mill) then they paved the first layer of new pavement right after the milling clean up!!

Took them about three weeks to mill and pave 5 miles of road (6 lanes and turn lanes) because of rain delays!!! It would rain almost every night about 9:30pm for about 4-5 days, they worked from 9pm to 5am on the job!!!

Dain

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!
