Excellent shots Gaz Applause I was waiting for these all week and you did not disappoint Wink

Absolutley love that 150, one of the nicest mobiles on the market in my opinion.

Im also liking the paint job on your hook, did it come from Liebherr like that or did you get bored one day in the yard??? WinkAni Teeth

Answers - Jack, about half hour to torque up the bolts then the crane is unhooked.

Sam - The block came from liebherr like that, cos the 150 runs with the big block at the front they put yellow hi-vis strips on it.

Richie - Nope, 200 looks like it will be heading to Hayes yard so i'll miss out. hopefully not. Training a few more drivers on my crane, had 2 days off in 8 weeks so need more people to drive. And no call from heavies yet but i'm living in hope.

Right, todays pictures.

Lifting last tower section.

Generator arriving.

Blades arriving

Another wagon for Paul.

The nacelle all prepped for lift

Ready to lift the nacelle

Lift in progress

Almost there

Just top'n'tailed the generator.

Generator ready to go up.

Lifting in progress. 62t of it.

All these pictures of the big girl my wee 150 is feeling left out!

Stilling loving this job Teeth

That is a great set of pictures Gaz! Thanks for the wagons as well - makes me wonder why WSI has never done Bolk livery? I think it looks real nice. And I hope your 150 doesn't feel too left out, we still love it Teeth

Yes Ray Gibbo is the man, he's let me have a few hours in the cab bless him Teeth. Thinking Hayes to be fair but heavies is still my goal so just going to sit tight at Beckton.

Still got some pictures of last weeks job to put up but just have to post this, I got some cracking photo's but at this moment I'm sitting on the side of our TC2800 watching a massive lift go ahead. Look at the cat head of the other crane and take your guess's Cool

Well played that man, ALE's AK912 is officially back in the game, and it is as impressive as ever.

I've got to find time to go through and upload quite a few pictures.

Have ALE come up with a better way of transporting the old girl? Maybe a full width bed?

Gaz, we can wait as long as it takes for the pictures mate. Just make sure its in the next 2 days Wink

1st things 1st lets get the last of the CC2500 pictures up. We built the hub assembley and blades on Friday and the crawler took the whole lot up in one Saturday morning.

There we go 1x wind turbine....was a good week. De-rigging the crawler later in the week.

I'll just sorting todays pictures, unbelievable to be on site with 2 cranes the size of a TC2800 and AK912

Today I was lucky enough to get up to Lowastoft where our TC2800 was working along side the newly repaired Gottwald AK912 of ALE's. There task was to turn a 700t turbine jacket. The big Gottwald picked the jacket up on 1 end to its point of balance where our TC got hold of it and lowered to upright. The pictures explain better what went down.

As a bit of a crane fanatic (geek) you can imagine how I felt watching these to giant machines do there thing. good times.

307t on the TC in the end before the jacket touched down, but the big TC still had 90t of capacity spare Smile

I must admit this was one of my favorite jobs to be around, think you'll agree I got some amazing pictures.

Enjoy

Amazing snaps there Gaz,great machines and great weather too!

I'm not up to speed on the 912,did she not orignially have a carrier? still great to see the old girl bumping elbows with todays modern hookers

We still need a 1/50 lattice Terex Demag

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Graham, the 912s carrier burnt out in Tunisia back in 2009 if I can remember rightly. They managed to salvage the important bit and made it a pedastal.

It then fell off a trailer not so long back, you can see how try have now put a full width bed under her. It has been upgraded once again to my knowledge. And impretty sure this is her first proper job lift since the repairs.

The lattice jib cranes look so much beefier than the tele booms in my opinion!!
