This is how the boom will be put together. First section of boom 25m. Next two will be 21m with a 3m overlap so extends only 18m. 3m extension, 11m dipper and then a 9m dipper. With the added dipper only a 5t tool. Remove the extra dipper and only extend to 70m a 10t tool can be fitted. This monster will be working at the beginning of Feb 2008.

Too answer your questions Jack, it is an Euro demolition machine, the boom is being built by 'Rusch Kraantechneik'. There are no pictures of the machine as of now, but there is a computer generated picture in the September issue of Earthmovers page 85.

Someone at Cat told me this machine was being built.

I imagine it'll need a somewhat more skilled operator than that clown in the thread relating to the incident in Asia.

It says in Erthmovers that even though the official reach is 90m the operator will only be able to work at a height of about 50-70 metres safely.

Renaultman,

Do you have any mesurement on the Car 5110b Tripple machine?
Wouldn't mind Custom making a model of it..

@ joe.

I believe 90m would be with boom Streched out. and normal working would be like in the pics i have posted. At right angle to the Vertical Boom.
