I needed some Cat paint so I went over to Ransome Cat in Whitehall, PA the other day. I decided to take a couple of pictures to share. I also needed some guitar strings, so I went to Guitar Center in on the same trip. When I got the parking lot, to my surprise, there was a large Demag sitting there. It appears they are going to be use it to lift steel beams to the center of the building. I did not get close to the crane, but appeared to be 1200 on the side.

There is usually some smaller pieces of equipment along their driveway.

In the far back corner of the yard.

Some various equipment...

350L,2-330BL, and a Deere 450CLC...

A growing collection of 953C's...

This is the second machine I have seen with the power edge logo (345CL)...

Some backhoes...

View from a 416E...

This ones a little dirtyTeeth

Here is what the crane is going to be lifting...

One big hook...

The crane...

One huge jib...

Enjoy,

Andrew

Thanks,

The 322FB was sitting back there with some other machines earlier in the summer, now it is by itself. It has a really unique cab, I had a chance to get in it earlier in the summer.

Trackhoe71,

What company did you work for? The machine looked like it was in fairly good shape.

According to Machinerytrader.com, they are asking $92,000 for it.

For the 322FB, $34,500.

Thanks,

Yeah, they have a much larger facility in Bensalem. Never stoped there, every time I pass it on the PA turnpike I tell myself I need to get there one of these days.

Thanks again,

Andrew

Do you mean the house? The carbody is the frame between the tracks that the swing bearing sits on. The large enclosure on the house is to allow the heat to escape from, as well as to grant easy access to the components on the inside. It also helps any debris that falls onto the house to slide off instead of building up.

Nice photos,
Do you have any more of that new 345c?

I've been to the G&R in Bensalem once or twice, though I've never walked around the lot, they always have a ton of iron there though.

Jim

Jim,

I do not have any more photos of this particular 345Cl. I do have some good shots of a pre-Power Edge 345Cl. It is the same machine just a different paint scheme. I can post them if you would like.

Thanks,

Andrew
