What do you think? Would Cat give the order to Norscot to make the biggest excavator from their line-up currently in production in the hugely popular scale 1:50th? No, of course not, just make it in the unimaginably weird scale of 1:64th!! Not talking d'oh!

I'd love one of those in 1:50th, but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. If ever... Not talking

Wrong scale for me of course, but I will get a couple and get that cab off!
It will scale up to make a nice 40/45 ton machine.Cool
I too, would have love to have seen it in 1:50,probly would have cost too much for Norscot to produce I guess.shame.Sad

Hey I personally am very glad to get it in 1/64 scale. I am a farm toy collector also so this will work very well in my display that I am tring to put together and I wish there was more 1/64 scale costruction equipment so that I wouldn't have to attempt to scratch build it in scale so it doesn't look rediculusly big on my display

The detail blows the 385BL out of the water, but I still dont understand why they didnt atleast put hydro lines up the boom, Or why there isnt a version in 1:50th scale.. Still a great looking machine tho.

Why don't they just make these models multipule scales. I'm glad to see this in 1/64 scale to. I'm eventully going to make me a layout and 1/64th is just right. 1/50th is too big for what i want but you 1/50th collectors don't need to suffer.

No right scale! It is about time that we get more construction toys in 64th scale. I thank Norscot so much for making this in 64th scale.

We should all just merge together and do 1:68th scale.

Seriously, tis a shame there isn't one for 1:50.

It sure looks nice. Wonder if the tracks has the same width as the 385B have?
