Here are some pics of the first sample models of Nooteboom's newest model, the MWT (Mega Windmill trailer).
It's a handbuild sample model that will be bettered and upgraded before the production version will come. Some model details and the printing will be altered.

The model is shown at the TERTS RAI fair in Amsterdam, and can be pre-ordered there for 295,- euro's, and it must be said it's worth every last penny. Soon the model can be pre-ordered on the Nooteboomshop as well, where Nooteboom club members get first pickings of course.

All details like hoses, lines, hydraulics, steering axles (even the friction steered 3rd dolly axle) are made in model. The windmill adapters are fully functionable, and the load can be suspended like in real life, but can also be short-coupled without load.

The model will be available in the second week of december.
Updates will follow.

Nooteboom, not only "trendsetters in trailers", but also "trendsetters in models".

That is a great looking HH tractor trailer! I could certain make room in the new case for one of those. And yes I already had in my minds eye and different color scheme. Are there any ideas to cost and if the section comes with it?

Yes, 295 euros.
There won't be red "Nooteboom" liveries. Just in company colors.
The windmill tower section is included, you will get everything that's shown on the pictures.
Available from the second week of december. From that time onwards you can order it at the Nooteboom website in their shop section.

In the Nooteboom Newsletter it shows a Pod as the load can you confirm if the load is a Vestas Pod or a Tower section.
Either way it looks a cracking model.
Thanks

Erik,
thanks for the post. Think I may have to wait until the New Year for that one, but it looks like it will be worth the wait Smile

No, this is 1:50.
The 1:24 is a polystyrene kit, this is a new diecast 1:50 model.
