I love that Mack. Too bad it's in Nigeria now. Thanks for posting, kind of like an early Christmas present!

That truck looked better in Malbros colors I think I remember hearing that we sold this one to them years ago. If not , we had one really similar. I really love that truck and I have some pictures that I need to scan and post of it in Malbros colors. Thanks for the awesome posts lately Joe !!!! - Danny

I remember playing soccer at the field right across from their yard in Union. I was always impressed with what I saw in their yard from the large trucks to their cranes. I haven't been there in years, are they still in business?

They are in business, but their yard is no longer in Union. It's in Branchburg, NJ.

I was in shock when I heard that they exported this truck a few years ago. There were several people in New Jersey who were willing to pay top dollar for this truck at the time. It's a shame.
Not long befoore this truck was sold, The 80,000lb Mack rears were removed and replaced with Clark BD91000 planetary rear ends. The transmission was also replaced with an Allison Automatic around the same time. The 80,000 lb rears are now in Conforti Specialized's 1980 DM800 tractor.
The DM800 that "Lil'Danny" speaks of actually was not a DM800 at all. It was a late 40s, early 50s Mack LMSWM that Casey owned and rebuilt using a Mack DM800 cab and front end sheet metal. Planetary rears were installed in this truck at some time as well. A b/w picture of the original truck on Casey's website. It was later sold to Malbros who had it up until at least the late 90s. I will agree, that it was a cool looking truck. I saw pictures of it working for its current owner on a web site recently...still painted yellow and white.
