What is the chance someone might make a model of this bad boy? It is rediculous, I could defineately see YCC doing one, the luffing configurations are many and 100m of main boom!. I have seen several "Newer" cranes that have hydraulicly controlled luffers; pretty intelligent way to do it I would assume much quicker to rig in the field VS a lattice jib. Just my ramblings, any thoughts? Mark http://www.vertikal.net/en/stories.php?id=3875http://www.schwerlast-rhein-main.de/berichte/bauma2007/liebherr_ltm11200-9.1_3.html

Tell you the truth it would be nice to see someone build this crane, BUT, there have been so many big cranes built over the last couple of years. I personally would rather see some small cranes to be built like a Terex AC80, Grove GMK5200 or a Hitachi KH230-3. Just my opinion.

I would also like to see the GTK1100! Smaller cranes would also be nice and certainly more affordable. There needs to be a year where only smaller cranes are produced so that my wallet has time to recover Paul R

Remember guys there is a GMK 5130-2 coming out! 5 axle tele!! As for the GTK 1100 i recall Himobo making the model I have heard that it will be made but by who? I don't know, I hope TWH just because of the level of detail. As for the LTM-1400 and LTM-1500 count me in!! Those cranes would sell big time, why neither has been made i won't ever understand. As for the LTM-11200 9.1? I really hope someone makes it it would be a great addition to any collection!! YCC would do a great job with it BUT i would rather see the LTM-1500 instead. It's a long shot folks but who knows??? Maybe YCC could do the LTM-11200 and the Terex TWIN 8800?? Only one can dream!!

The LTM1400 has already been made by CMM. I have it in the Van Seumeren livery but I am unsure if it was done in any other liveries. An expensive SOB as well!
Would love to see the LTM1500 also, as well as the others listed. YCC would be a good choice but can you imagine the price tag of the CC8800 Twin?? Conrad would do a good job of this and it would probably be a good base model for customising as well as keeping the price within reach.
I also heard the rumours about a model of the GTK1100 but I cannot remember the details. With so many announcements and rumours, it is hard to keep up!

Paul R Yeah that's true!! YCC would do a great job on the 8800 but conrad could do it, and YCC could do a Kit for it like they did for the 1750/7550 etc.. There was a picture posted of the GTK1100 by Himobo and the detail was next to nothing. For that crane to be made and for me to buy it, it would have to have detail. So conrad or TWH would be my first choices! I didn't know CMM made a LTM1400?

KSM made a LTM1400 (8 axle). bad overrated model if you ask me. price tag is higher than the LTM1800, detail level is low. no way is this ever gonna get my money
i assume what you meant is the LTM1400-1 / LTM1400-7.1 seven axle tele, current 400 tonner
this has not been made in model form

this has not been made in model form Sorry, I thought this was a CMM model as it was advertised that way. And yes, it is a highly overrated model and I learnt my lesson! Look before you buy! However, I did not pay more than the LTM1800 but it was not far off. Paul R

you are not wrong. it was sold and marketed through CMM as well
and yes, several liveries were made, most of them on customer request

Anybody have pictures??
If conrad made the LTM-1400 7.1 how hard would it be to make it into a LTM-1500?

I am voting for the LTM 1500, or the LTM11200, both would be great additions Jason NIkl Scale Models

9 axles, 1 crane of that type
thats why you have a crane named LTM1220-5.2, its the second 220 tonner on five axles in the Liebherr history

thats intersesting makes sense though as product evolves not to get models mixed up ,when looking for engineering or parts

thanks
thats why there is a huge difference between a LTM1200, a LTM1200-1 and a LTM1200-5.1, ots like the difference between a D9H , D9L and a D9T dozer
