These are a few years old and may have previously been posted. That is really one hell of a model. I threw in a few "ringers" to keep Christian on his toes...

I suspected as much - he is a moderator (I believe) at hansebube.de where I found these. Well, I'll leave them up - we have some new folks who might not have seen them. Damned shame the Search engine on this Forum is always on the fritz... Not talking

Sure, thanks. Those look to be some real quality models. I believe the photos were taken at a big company event or construction expo. I'm sure Christian can fill in the details for us..
Dewoc was just pointing out the obvious - that is why God created search engines on Forums so this duplication doesn't occur. No harm done....

Edit - hmmm, just tried the search engine and it worked. Never works when I'm at work!

I was pretty sure these pics were taken at the last ConExpo? I think that the models were built by Demag engineers as demonstration units. Anyhow, great shots, glad to see them posted again! Love that CC12600 model! I also remember that this was discussed last time but can anyone please refresh my memory on why the crawler tracks were set in opposing positions on the CC8800-1 ?

Rowan.

i was "going on about" just simply saying Christian knows about these pictures, and that they were posted before, maybe if you would take your head out of your ass and learn to read a little bit you could have understood that mmmkay pumpkin Teeth

i dont care if these pics or any pics get posted a thousand times repeated, i was just simply stating that they have been posted before because Christian was the one who posted the link about it, so he already knew of the pics..... not really a hard concept to understand if you ask me but some clearly dont know how to read.... in a few minutes ill ask my daughter to come here and read this and she will understand it and she is only 4

What a nice collection of cranes-I wonder what the lift capacity of the actual models is (not the real cranes)-a ton or two? They look beefy enough to do that!!

The CC8800 tracks are universal-there is no left side or right side. That is why they off set when installed.

Great post.

Just noticed the crawlers also. That is rather odd-looking. Now if someone threw a double-boomed CC8800 ringer in 1/50 scale out there and asked, oh let's say $2,000 - I might....just might be interested. And like Dewoc says, the whole jib on jib on jib routine is just about priceless...
