Looks luck this Truck might be for the operators on the 'Mummy' shifts..... Pink is the national colour for 'Breast Cancer' research in Australia but hopefully Gavin will let us know the full story. Gary On a side note North QLD Heavy Haulage have been transporting new 830E's from Rocklea to Clermont Coal and will then transport 930E's to fullfil this order later this year.

There is a construction company in Omaha, NE called Pink Grading and all their trucks have pink hoods and doors. kinda different, but it works as you won't forget the name.
It's hard to fly like an eagle when you work with turkeys.

Yep, thats what Gav told me.. Breast Cancer Awareness month in Australia!. It's great to see the mining operation show support for it. ... But I bet you one thing... That truck must be operated by a lady. Somehow I can't picture a big tough Aussie guy rolling down the haulroad in that one! ...and be able to live it down!!

Not sure on the name of the company, but in northern WI, there was a larger contractor that had all of his equipment painted light pink. The dumps had black boxes on them. It has been a while, but I had seen them working in the Mercer, WI area, Eagle River area, and Preqisle area. I want to say it was something like Pablo Contracting or something...Maybe someone else in WI knows who I am talking about.

Hi Tim,
I can't see what is wrong with pink, the S.A.S (Special Air Services Regiment) used to run pink Land Rovers in desert ops, they were known as "pinkies" and there is no way I would make fun of them!!!. Apparently it blends in well with the surrounding terrain.
Steve.

Apparently it blends in well with the surrounding terrain. Steve. They blended in with the setting sun. Some submarines used in the pacific during world war 2 were painted pink as well. They would blend in with the setting sun when running on the surface to charge their batteries.
