Its a tidy machine, and from what the driver told me a hell of a lot cheaper that a 100 all terrain (if that is true, he was well happy with his new machine was really singing its praise's). I knew Mcnallays had one, but i was not counting that as the UK Gaz

Gaz i may owe you a big appology I know for sure DSM have one, however this may actually only be on order and not arrived as yet, i was sure i have seen a picture of this, however i cannot find one on my pc, or internet to post. I will check with my contact at Liebherr UK tomorrow and let you know. McNallys have a depot in Scotland (Windhoist), so thats why i said they were the first in the UK. i think its primarily used for the wind turbine sector, probably as a tailing crane and for assembling blades etc. When you think about it they must be loads cheaper than a conventional all terrain, firstly theres no crane carrier structrure, axles, only one engine, one cab and no need for complex air and lighting, wiring etc for road use. once again i apologise in advance if i am replied incorrectly regards Marcus

Great photos Gaz! I love that little thing. Do you have any larger ones? Say 800x600?

I'll post some bigger pictures tomorrow, i'm working right next to it in my LTM1080 so i'm watching it all day. Had a little play in it today and i must say i felt a little uncomfortable at radius.....the track width is only 5 meters and thats a hell of a jib lenth on such a small base (even with the 32ton of ballast behind me), but as the driver told me if the radius gets to much simply track closer, the boom lenth is more for hight than radius.
I hope i'm still there in 2 weeks as it has to pick and carry a 32 ton steel truss, i'll take a video camera in that day.
As a direct result of seeing this machine i've bought the model and intend to spray it 'Steelcraft' livery as i think most agree it looks the 'dogs'.
