I built this a few years ago, for my collection. 99% from scratch, took 7 weeks to complete. Enjoy http://picasaweb.google.com/ap40rocktruck/HallamoreMackap40rocktruck Richard MarkOwner/ Master Model Maker Industrial Model Designrick@industrialmodeldesign.comhttp://industrialmodeldesign.com

GREAT JOB THE MODEL LOOKS GOOD. GEROSA HAULAGE CORP. HAD A 1974 MACK M-45 SX No. 300 THAT THEY SOLD TO HALLAMORE AROUND 1978

The other M45 SX that Hallamore had was originally built for Standard Container, Keasbey, NJ. If you look at pictures of the two Hallamore trucks, the one with the chrome air horns on the roof came from Standard, the other M45 came from Gerosa.

After looking at some pictures, this model is of the former Standard Container M45, Hallamore #330. Hallamore # 230 was the Gerosa truck. I have no idea if they still own either of them. I had heard that they were for sale a few years back. Standard would be better known as the infamous "A.J. Ross Logistics Co."

Thanks to everyone for lookng. 1/24 heavy haul & mining is my favorite to model when i am home. This one is unit 330, the ex-gerosa unit is 230. The Gerosa unit has a 16V-71 DDC, 330 is built with a Cummins VT-1710. THanks for looking, ap40rocktruck Richard MarkOwner/ Master Model Maker Industrial Model Designrick@industrialmodeldesign.comhttp://industrialmodeldesign.com

Great looking custom!! What are the dimensions on that? Any intentions of doing a trailer to match? Very cool truck.

the M-45SX is almost 21" long. no plans for a trailer, but the other unit 230 in Gerosa colors will be done in a year or so. ap40rocktruck Richard MarkOwner/ Master Model Maker Industrial Model Designrick@industrialmodeldesign.comhttp://industrialmodeldesign.com
