What a beauty! I'll bet Norscot's going to release the F soon being that they already have the base model in their current D.

The fixture on the rhs is a large radial fan housing, (similar in concept to the MT6300 pics posted a couple of weeks back) and I hope Norscot do not use the D as the base for this because this deck is common to the 793F and is substantially different to the D, in dimensions, levels etc. Also the chassis and dump body all need major changes and the cab is totally new.

Nice surprise. Is a picture of a 795 far behind?I like the new look up front with the slanted headlights. That will set these apart from the 793s up to now.Are those mud flaps up front new.

Great looking truck ! Thanks for sharing, TimT !
The 793D won't stay as long time as the 793C or 797B in the Caterpillar range machines... are there is problems on them ?

I don't think there is any problem with the D series trucks. I think they are just trying to roll over to the F series to standardize the lineup.
I know it's not a 793F, but I am writing this on my phone from the cab of a 797B.

They've always had the mudflaps, (usually "modified" by the steer tires), they're just more prominent with the redesigned frontend.
