Just been on the Cat website and found some great pictures of the new F-series trucks. We are going to se even more this week from Minexpo so I thought I'd create a topic to collect all information on these new machines. I hope you are looking at this Norscot. A 1:50 scale 797F or 795-AC would be a nice addition!

Have to say this again, but I would love to see the 797F and even the 795F made in 1/50th....by Norscot of course.

Great pics of some mean looking trucks.

I'd second that one. Or a 793. I'd be happy with either.

What's the rated capacity on the 795F? I personally think it will do well in the market as a gap filler between the 793 and 797.

How did I know you'd have the answer to that Teeth Thanks bud! I'm supprised if 345 though. Thought it would be more like 320.

so is there just a 50 ton gap between 795F and 797F, but a 110 ton gap to the 793F?

interesting positioning.

or will the 797F grow in payload then, compared to the 797B?

Well, we already know we are getting the 797F from Norscot for sure. However, I would also suspect that since the 795F is a BRAND NEW PRODUCT for Cat... that they will want to promote it? I would think to look for a 795F in 2009 as a possibility. In what Scale? I would hate to venture a guess. Same for the Cat 993K... another BRAND NEW product for Cat and I would certainly hope that in 2009, we'll see that as a replica as well (for promotional purposes on Cat's end of course :O)! These are just guesses on my part, so don't anyone start the rumor train running just yet! lol ... Prt
