I passed by there today and what a diference. If you have ever been up the you know the railway bridge you had to cross, NO MORE Teeth .There were some surprizes. There are 15 of the Renault trucks carrying coal there now. Have a look at the pics. The last few are of Celtic Energy's site. Hope you enjoy.

The dinasour breathes. It was filling a Volvo A30D, two scoops and she was full.

Great pics renaultman! I can tell they've made a lot of headway since the last time you posted pics of the site. Nice to see that their still runnin' the old 185 too- I'll bet she runs like a champ for them.

Nice pictures Geraint, thanks for posting.
Last time I was down at the site they were putting the bridge in over the Bogey Road.
Looks like I'll have to visit the site soon! What was the Walters site?
Regards
Paul

I had to laugh at that 16M and the big mess where the fuel bleeds out of the tank, we install a simple rubber hose and P clamp it down the side of the engine enclosure and it hangs down about half height of the tandem, no mess on the nice machine whatsoever but i am sure the treehuggers would hate the fact of a bit of diesel on the ground, personally i could care less about that and did everybody see the 24M pics from a while back. I believe this fleet is Finning maintained so you best get on to it fellas ot we might have some 16M BBQ pics.

The Walters site was the Onllwyn coal disposal site. The coal was comng from the Nant Helen site. Not a bad day, got lost ut found the Walters yard. Some nice machins there and then I found the Onllwyn site.

Did you notice that walters has two other yards apart from the main one?one has a brand new jcb js460 and a few dozers and scrapers, the other has a cat 375 being rebuilt. Also just down the road from miller argent, kj services has a huge yard with loads of machines, they even have a dismantled hitachi ex3500 witch used to work at nant helen.Always loads to photograph.
