Super! You can never get tired of LEGO, no matter how old you are.
I am very impressed on how good some LEGO builders are! Really enjoy watching your pics!
Do you know how tall this model will be?

Joe Joe, you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear someone say "Lego Bricks" instead of "Legos" Most people just have no idea.... I dont know exactly what scale it is going to be yet. I am building it proportional to the large Technic 24x43 tires....I just need to do the math to figure out what scale that works to. One drawback of Lego is you cannot modify it so you have to use what parts are already out there... As far as my collection....her is a few pictures of *some* of it...there is more in storage! Keep a watch out for updates...I get bored in the winter!! -Alvin.

Well, I have a few more progress pictures to show... **WARNING*** If you are one of those people who are a bit OCD and have immaculate work stations, please know that the following picutres might upset you a bit... My Lego area is nowhere near organized or neat! Anyways, I have gotten started on the carrier. I am still working in the slewing gears and the motors for steering, but she is coming together nicely! I am hoping to be done with the carrier and on to the superstructure in the coming weeks!! Please feel free to let me know what you think! Thanks! -Alvin.

I think it is amazing, looks like some real time consuming work. When do you think you will have it done?
Do you glue the bricks together? the size this is turning out it will be one heavy lump and i'm wondering will it be too heavy for some of the smaller joints.

Gaz GLUE!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Sorry, That word just really gets to us Lego people There will be no glue used anywhere in this model. If you use the plate/beam/plate building technique, you can construct quite rigid and sturdy models out of Lego. The "Technic" parts also have holes in them that pins fit into. You can use cross and vertical bracing to strengthen up the critical joints. I don't know how long it is going to take to complete, but I am trying to be dilligent in keeping my head into this build! I will keep all updated with pics as she progresses! Thanks for the compliments. -Alvin.
