In you honest opinion what is the best of the above to go for? I can feel the urge to buy one of them, however with things not being good in the economy I only want one of them, the best one of course! Which one???

Raymac, Although I do not presently have the Liebherr LG1550 in my collection, ( I do have the LTM1800 in my collection), it is produced by YCC, the Liebherr LR1750 is produced by Conrad. In my opinion, you can not beat the attention to detail that YCC includes in their models. Randy M. Smolenack RMSmodels@aol.comrandy.m.smolenack@us.army.mil

Hi Ray Although I dont have either, I would have to also go with the LG1550, the reason has to be the detail is far better than the Conrad model. Also you have the LR so you could get the LG1750 at a later day. Hopefully see you at Wick in April. Riever

The only resolution to your conundrum is to buy both ...however YCC has put a lot more detail into their product ...

I like them both but I would go with the YCC model over the conrad. Much better detail and quality, although I do like the look of the Conrad model. Jason NIkl Scale Models

Ray, I would go for the YCC model also. I plan on getting both models but will get the LG1750 first as I want to repaint. I will then get the LG1550 later in the year (funds allowing!). I saw the LG1750 today and it is quite an imposing model Paul R

Hi Ray, I have the LG1550 and have also seen the LG1750 at Spalding today and in my mind I made the right choice, having said that the LG1750 is still a fine model and if funds allow I will no doubt be getting one, rumour has it that Conrad are not doing another run in factory colours, but could be doing more in company colours, therefore if you do decide to get one in factory colours you will need to be quick Steve.
